Music for the heart and legs
The quartet "Schürmüli Musig" enchants your guests with folk music from Appenzell and the rest of Switzerland, with fiery Eastern European sounds from Romania and Hungary as well as with hot rhythms from southern regions. The music played with dulcimer, alphorn, violin, accordion, tuba, double bass, percussion and singing seduces to dance and dream in equal measure. Groovy and melancholic melodies alternate, witty original compositions complete the repertoire. You will be blown away by the irresistible "Schürmüli Musig".
An experienced troop
Since its foundation in the seventies the formation "Schürmüli Musig" has performed at well over a thousand events. Mountain huts were among them as well as concert halls in big cities. The troupe has delighted audiences in countries such as Switzerland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Senegal, USA and Japan. "Schürmüli Musig" is one of the first bands in the world to use the dulcimer for South American music, thus opening up new dimensions for the traditional Swiss instrument.
