The repertoire

The Alphorn player's repertoire includes very old melodies from the early days of the Alphorn (for example "Hoch auf dem Berg", "Alphornrufe von der Rigi") to modern compositions especially for the Alphorn (for example "Moosruef"). Let the musician put together a programme suitable for your event.

The musician

Patrick Kissling has been playing alphorn and French horn for more than 25 years. He was trained in master classes and workshops with renowned musicians such as Balthasar Streiff, Matthias Koffmehl, Eliana Burki, Bill Hopson Frances Jones and others. The passionate alphorn player particularly enjoys playing in the mountains. The instrument is always with him on his hikes, and many a hiker has been surprised by the sounds of the alphorn. Depending on the project, Kissling plays in a duo or trio with musicians he knows. It is also possible for the alphorn to play with the organ or with other instruments.
