North America is large, and the repertoire of "Surf and Turf" is correspondingly broad. The trio draws musically from the tradition from Nashville to Honolulu and from country to bluegrass to gospel, lovingly arranged, played virtuously and presented with devotion. When the band plays, it sounds and swings. Flaco Martino's beguiling voice hits the audience right in the heart, and Andi Gisler and Oliveiro Sotano provide the earthy sound to go with it. Perfectly suited for upscale concert events, but also the perfect background for aperitifs and private functions.

"Surf and Turf" was founded by Andi Gisler and Flaco Martino. Oliveiro Sotano expanded the formation to a trio with his double bass. All three musicians inspire with their instrumental skills. They love handmade music and move between styles with relaxed ease. A perfect interaction of three professionals.

The Biographies

In the blood of Andi Gisler (guitar, dobro, lapsteel) flows the sound of the south. He has already performed at the Open-Air St. Gallen, C.B.G.B's New York, the Moab Folk Festival in Utah and the Country Music Festival Silkeborg in Denmark. For many years he has also been active as a producer (including "Manfred Man Earth Band").

Flaco Martino (vocals) is a born entertainer and has been listening to the immortal songs of Hank Williams, Ray Charles and Elvis since early childhood. Singing them makes him happy even the thousandth time. Flaco's voice has been used in countless bands and productions.

Oliveiro Sotano (bass) played with Florian Ast, Bluesbueb, Vanessa Edita and Sandra Rippstein and rocks with KingCaruso. Oliveiro convinces with the swinging, earthy sound of his double bass. His legendary bedroom look makes hearts beat faster from Bern to Zurich.
