Biography of the quartet
Bohnen im Urlaub was founded in 1993 as an unplugged cover band. Since their early days, they have not been a normal music group. With their musical theater and theatrical music, the four artists offer funny and quirky entertainment.
The singer Pruno takes center stage. He is a fantastic entertainer, bubbling over with wit and spontaneity. At his side are the quirky Toktor on the piano and the stressed-out stage manager Duke on the guitar. In the middle is the stoic amateur golfer Maxman on percussion.
Music style
The choice of music is perfectly matched to the characters Pruno, Toktor, Duke and Maxman. The quartet plays old and new hits from pop and rock history and wraps them up in airy, acoustic arrangements. The songs are celebrated with a lot of love and polyphonic choirs.
