Atmospheric program
Let yourself be transported back to past times and offer your guests a nostalgic ambience. The chanson singer and her accordionist enrich your event with the most beautiful French and German chansons. The atmospheric journey through time takes you from Hildegard Knef and Marlene Dietrich to the harsh reality of Edith Piaf's life in the 1930s, and from Sailors' Night and the ironic Totentango by Jacques Brel to the poetic and fragile world of the great Barbara. Skilful, charming and passionate, the duo puts their audience in the most beautiful moods.
The singer
During her training as a primary school teacher Sabine Wiesli attended classical singing lessons, the choir as well as guitar and piano lessons. At the same time she sang in the rock band "Les Assessörs" and performed with them. She lived in Paris for two years and attended the jazz school CIM there. Back in Zurich she continued to train her voice in courses and with various singers and studied school music at the Zurich University of the Arts. Today Sabine Wiesli realizes her musical ideas and interests in various formations.
The Accordionist
Jürg Luchsinger began his musical education in Zurich and obtained his teaching and soloist diploma at the State College of Music in Trossingen. Today he pursues an international concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician; his repertoire covers a broad musical spectrum from baroque to contemporary works. Jürg Luchsinger also supervises an accordion class at the Music Academy of the City of Basel and the Music School Conservatory of Zurich.
