Original, feminine, cheeky
The alphorn duo timorosso is original and modern, Swiss and international, cultivated and cheeky at the same time. Surprise your guests with a refreshing mix of different musical styles, played by two women on the alphorn. Whether outside or inside, the two professional musicians perform wherever your event takes place.
Tina Wilhelm
Besides the alphorn, Tina Wilhelm plays a variety of other instruments. She graduated from the Basel Music Academy with diplomas as an orchestra trumpeter and wind orchestra conductor and is also a master of playing the cornet, flugelhorn, trombone, flute and carnival piccolo. Overtone singing is also one of her musical passions. As a conductor and instrumentalist she has toured several European countries as well as South America, Africa and Asia. She has been performing in a duo with Monika Zuber since 2010.
Monika Zuber
Monika Zuber studied Althorn at the Bern University of the Arts with Guy Michel and Thomas Rüedi and graduated in 2007 with a teaching diploma. She plays in the Alphorn Duo timorosso (since 2010) and in the Alto Horn Quartet (since 2004), teaches at various music societies in the Bernese Seeland and is a register teacher and conductor.
