The name says it all for this duo: it's colorful! From rustic and foppish to melancholy and experimental - Klangfarbix draws on the whole spectrum of folk music. Various instruments are used. The two musicians, Miriam Christeler and Markus Gerber, play the Schwyzerörgeli, accordion, electric bass and double bass with great passion and manage to infect the audience with their energy. Whether polka, dixie or waltz - the Klangfarbix duo is happy to adapt its repertoire to your event.

The duo

Miriam Christeler (*1988) has been playing the Schwyzerörgeli since childhood and later learned to play the accordion, double bass and electric bass. She has already taught Schwyzerörgeli at various music schools. She set up her own business in 2012 and now passes on her skills at home in Oberthal.

Markus Gerber (*1979) learned to play the double bass in his youth and later also the electric bass. He helps out in various formations and is not only familiar with folk music - he has also played in a country band and a rockabilly band. He likes to incorporate these styles into his folk music from time to time.
