Familiar melodies with new lyrics

Swinglisch - that's Lea Oxley, Raya Sarontino, Karin Schärli and Beat Wurmet. The professional musicians combine well-known melodies from various genres with cheeky Swiss-German lyrics in a close harmony style and spice it all up with a good pinch of humor. With their showmanship and charm, they delight the audience and make them laugh, dream and revel.

The singers

Lea Oxley comes from Zurich and trained as a musical performer at the London Academy of Performing Arts. Since then she has worked as a professional actress, musical performer and singer as well as a singing and acting teacher and vocal coach and lives in Lucerne.

Raya Sarontino from Kriens trained as a professional musical performer at the Mountview Academy of Performing Arts in London and has since worked at home and abroad as a singer and actress in musicals, operettas and concert performances.

Karin Schärli lives with her family in Kriens and is the only one from Swinglisch with a classical vocal training. She sings at various events and with various formations.

The pianist

The versatile musician Beat Wurmet has extensive musical training and experience and completed his Master's degree at the Lucerne Jazz School. The drummer and pianist plays in various formations, composes, arranges, teaches drums and is also active as musical director for musical projects.
