Trift combines old with new
Trift build a sonic bridge between past times and present moments. Their name is inspired by the spectacular suspension bridge that spans the foot of the Trift Glacier in the Haslital. And the name says it all: old melodies from the Haslital, original, powerful, with wit and depth, are lovingly revived by the three musicians with musical finesse.
Rich Swiss culture
The aim of the three musicians is to keep the rich cultural treasures of Switzerland's peripheral regions and rural areas alive. The Haslital dialect plays an important role in the trio's music. The three men reinterpret the lyrics and songs from times gone by with love and passion. They bring accordion, guitar, percussion, wind instruments, bass and vocals to the stage and take their audiences by storm with their witty programs.
Three musicians with a wealth of experience
Roland Schwab is a master of dozens of different instruments, including some that probably few people know. Among them: The serpente, a historical wind instrument. The Trift trio has decades of stage experience. The three multi-talented musicians tailor their program to the occasion.
