Power Quartet
There are many music groups whose repertoire is limited to the eternally same covers. Eva Gisler and her band are different. With two power women at the front, this quartet raises Blues'n'Soul to a powerful level. Earthy groovy but also soulfully warm are the deep own songs and covers.
The singer
The lead is Eva Gisler from Effretik, who has dedicated her whole being to music. She is front woman of various bands and likes everything from funk to blues, jazz, soul and pop rock. Besides her life on stage, she is a singing teacher at the municipal youth music school in Effretikon and also gives private lessons.
Plenty of room for experiments
At Eva's side, Angie Lütolf pushes the gas. With her voice, her electric bass or the E-/A-guitar she can hardly be stopped. Except Martin Fischer on the drums, who sets the tempo and beat. In addition, Geri Zumbrunn on the Wurlitzer electric piano or double bass rounds off the full sound of the band "eva". Tasty: The fact that one band member plays Wurlitzer and double bass and another member plays both electric bass and electric guitar gives plenty of room for variety and experiments. The seasoned musicians, who all act as educators in their field, make ample use of this space.
