"Sugar Box" is a pop/rock band with a wide range of collected experiences, from which a personal, unmistakable sound emerged. The music contains elements from many different styles, which are consistently woven into a colourful web of emotional and danceable pop. The sound of the Celtic electro-harp and the three-part singing create an exciting sound picture, and make Sugar Box an unforgettable experience.

National and international successes

The band has achieved various successes: Their song "Freedom" was released on the English CD "Big Indie Comeback", which was presented on MTV (August 2007 in the shows "Spanking New Music" and "Gonzo with Zane Lowe". The song was placed in the charts on the Australian Radio ILR "World Indie Top 40".
Sugar Box was invited to a songwriter festival in Ireland, among others, and performed at various festivals, in bars, clubs and at many parties in Switzerland.

Karin Sigrist: Keys, Vocals

She completed her teaching diploma at the Zurich Conservatory and has been teaching piano ever since. Singing has always fascinated her - as a brilliant singer she shows an excellent presence on stage.

Elisa Van den Berg: guitar, vocals

Elisa supplemented her teaching diploma with an education at the dance and theatre school "Comart". Early on she wrote her own songs and toured around with bands like "Elisa and the Häberli Brothers" as bassist and lead singer. With "MoonSnake" she is guitarist, singer, composer and songwriter.

Kate Northrop: electroharp, vocals

She studied music at Bennington College in Vermont (USA) and Celtic harp in Wales (GB). In 1992 she started her career with her CD "Roots and Wings". Kate is an excellent harp player, composer, singer and songwriter in the female band.

Cordula Camenzind: Bass

With the great passion for rhythm, Cordula's desire to be a drummer in a women's band grew. Her visions and ideas made it possible to make "Moonsnake" a reality in 1999.

Ingrid Stillhard: Drums

She started classical violin lessons at the age of 10 and played in various orchestras for years. Fascinated by the sensual sound of the cello, she later switched to this instrument. At the end of the 90's she discovered the electric bass.
