Funk played live
The four-piece band The Shedebies live for funk and celebrate it in all their songs. In combination with other styles such as jazz, soul or rock, they create their very own funk universe that will delight your guests. Every performance is unique, because improvisation plays an important role.
Formations and nuances
The band plays purely instrumentally as a trio and quartet, but also performs as a quartet with vocals. Whether songs or covers, spicy or sweet, instrumental or sung: The Shedebies create an exciting listening and dancing experience and get every audience celebrating with their typical up-tempo numbers.
The band members
Guitarist Patrick Blättler is a thoroughbred musician with many years of live experience. He played in the band Mothership Caldonia and in various jazz formations.
The brothers Michael Schaffner (drums) and Christian Schaffner (keyboards) founded the funk band Loufonq. The songs in this band were mainly composed by Christian.
Bassist Roger Semlitsch was the founder and leader of the legendary funk combo Sulco. He joined the band Loufonq in 2006.
The four talented musicians have been playing together for over 15 years. They have toured all over Europe and played numerous clubs and festivals.
