Azul inspires the audience with touching vocals, interesting arrangements, virtuoso solos and stirring rhythms. Songs from Brazil, the Caribbean and South America that invite the audience to dance and enjoy. They are played by Azul with great passion at a pleasant volume.
"Azul" captivates with the art of interpreting both quiet and melancholic as well as cheerful, rhythmically diverse songs with a lot of feeling and joy of playing in an expressive way. The band creates a great atmosphere at company parties, birthdays, weddings and is also suitable for concerts on small stages and at open airs.

The musicians

Cinzia Catania, the singer with the unique, crystal clear and yet warm and soft voice, sings with passion and lets her Sicilian roots flow into "Azul".
Guitarist Joël Kuster studied at the Lucerne Jazz School and graduated with a Master's degree. He has played in many jazz, pop and blues bands and performs around 100 live gigs a year. He teaches guitar at the Sarnen Music School.
Jonas Lüscher plays bass and has a master's degree in music education. He lived in Bolivia a few years ago, gave workshops there and played concerts with Bolivian jazz musicians. He is in several bands and ensembles.
Peter Bryner has been playing in various bands as a drummer for 25 years. His main focus has been playing with various African musicians, with concerts at home and abroad. During a year-long stay in the Caribbean, he became acquainted with the music there and with the native rhythms and enjoyed lessons in drums and congas.
