A successful mixture of old and new
Would you like a music group for your event that offers a successful mixture of oldies and well-known new songs? Then BBR is the right choice. The quintet plays Boogie, Blues and Rock 'n' Roll on a high level. The older and newer hits let the mood rise quickly, the music is also perfect for dancing.
Ideal for a young and young at heart audience
Thanks to its broad repertoire, the formation is ideally suited for musical entertainment at events to which a mixed audience is invited. Whether at company events or private parties: BBR will ensure that your guests are enthusiastic. The band performs as a short intermezzo (for about an hour) or full-length.
The five musicians of BBR
Andreas Studer (keyboard) already gave his first dance concerts and also boogie-woogie concerts as a teenager in Adelboden as the youngest solo entertainer. At the age of 14 he became Swiss champion in concert organ playing. He was inducted into the army recruiting program and was used in various army operations (Pepe Lienhard, Concert Band, etc.). Later he played with the band Ayersrock, Memories, Theater am Tatort Musical: (Automanie / "si hei dr Wilhelm Tell uf gführt").
Philipp Bühlmann (bass) attended the jazz school in Bern and currently plays in various jazz and fusion projects (Open Season, Nils Burri etc.).
René Brechbühl (drums), a genuine Emmental who knows how to make the cheese of the same name. As a founding member of the Emmental rock band "Ayersrock" (1994), and as a founding member of BBR, he has rhythm in his blood.
Jennifer Traber grew up in a large musical family. So she discovered a great passion for music at an early age. Piano lessons, guitar and drums became her great hobby, later she also took violin lessons. Her father conducted an a capella choir, in which she participated and made progress in her singing. Looking for a new challenge, she started an exciting and new task as lead singer with the group BBR.
Chrigu Blaser (electric guitar) founded his first rock band "The Rock'n'Roll Guys" in Worb at the age of 15. As a current professional musician he is currently sweeping up and down Switzerland with "Led Airbus & The How" and teaches at the Musigbörse in Bern. He lends his guitar to the well-known children's mouse "Jimmy Flitz" and lives out his country and rock'n'roll enthusiasm with BBR.
Marc Gerber, could probably be called a kind of "primordial rock" of the local music scene now. For more than thirty years now, the guitarist has been playing his way through bands and their various musical styles. Some stations are or were Holle, Philipp Fankhauser, Sandra Rippstein, David Waddell, Taco, Polo Hofer etc.
