Add atmosphere and glamour to your event with classical music. The professional flutist Kathrin Oplatka plays contemplative, virtuoso and lively flute music; her repertoire ranges from composers of the Baroque (Telemann, Vinci) to works of the classical modern age (Debussy).
Solo, duo or quartet
The flutist performs solo, in duo with piano or other instruments such as percussion, organ, harp, harpsichord, guitar, accordion or a second flute. On request Kathrin Oplatka also plays in a quartet with violin, viola and cello. The cultivated music fits perfectly to wedding celebrations or to the frame of your aperitif or your vernissage. Biography and awards
Kathrin Oplatka spent her childhood in Stockholm, Paris and Moscow. She studied at the Zurich Conservatory, the Freiburg University of Music (Germany) and in Paris with Patrick Gallois. Parallel to her music studies, she completed training in theatre pedagogy. A three-time winner of the Kiefer Hablitzel Prize, the flutist is also a recipient of the UBS Chamber Music Prize. In 2010 she received the Culture Prize of the Herzogenbuchsee community. In addition to her concert activities, she teaches flute and realizes children and youth theater projects.
