His repertoire ranges from South American guitar music and Tango Argentino to jazz and well-known melodies from the world of classical music, pop and musicals. He performs solo or in a duo with a pianist or guitarist, if desired also additionally with singing and with a show dance couple. The widely travelled musician
Richard Schneider is a professional guitarist, certified music educator and concert promoter. In addition to his eight-string master guitar, he also plays the bandoneon, a hand-wound instrument of originally German origin, which is so typical for Tango Argentino. In Switzerland, he has performed at the Tango Week Zurich, the National Museum Zurich and the KKL Lucerne, among others. He participated in numerous renowned guitar festivals from Biel to Buenos Aires and has accompanied choral projects for many years, such as the Russian choir "White Nights", with which he performed in Moscow and St. Petersburg. As part of his international concert activities he has travelled to Belgium, Serbia, Romania, Moldavia, Hungary, Argentina, Chile, the USA and many other countries.
